Atsuki Momose
Founder & CEO
Specializing in security, cryptography, and confidential computing, he pursued a Ph.D. in computer science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).
His research is consistently recognized at the world's premier security and distributed computing conferences including ACM CCS, PODC, and DISC. He has also served on the Program Committee for ACM CCS and received the Top Reviewer Award for several years. He is a recipient of the Ethereum Foundation Research Grant.
Prior to founding Almure in January 2026, he served as Executive Officer and Head of Research at Acompany, leading confidential computing R&D, joint research with Intel Labs, and commercial enterprise deployments.

Graduated from Waseda University's Graduate School of Fundamental Science and Engineering. Since 2017, he has been engaged in R&D on Confidential Computing and TEEs, with a focus on Intel SGX. In 2019, he developed "BI-SGX," an SGX-based confidential computing cloud system, through IPA's MITOU Program, earning recognition as a MITOU Super Creator.
After joining IBM Japan, he joined Acompany in 2022 as Tech Lead of the R&D team, driving research and development in the privacy tech space. He has also conducted TEE vulnerability assessments and implementation support for multiple organizations, and continues to contribute to the TEE community through work including contributions to the Gramine project. He serves as a lecturer at IPA's Security Camp National Convention (2023–) and as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Information Security (2025–).
